Brown Transferware Polychrome Enameled Plate. This is a stunning brown transfer ware plate that has been hand enamelled in vibrant colors of blue, ochre, green and rust. It is trimmed with an inverted scalloped and gilded rim. The scene is a classic hunt scene with a retriever holding a pheasant in its mouth.

The pattern is called The Chase. Condition: slight chip on edge, no cracks. After working as a commercial traveller for his father's firm he joined the firm of Robinson and Wood. Packaged in eco friendly biodegradable bubble wrap.
