William Barnes Studio Art Pottery Fish Scale Flambe Vase English Vintage Antique. Beautiful flambe vase by the well known English artist William Barnes, best known for his work with Pilkington's Lancastrian Pottery. About 1.578 kg in weight.

The prior owner made it into a lamp. Part of which included gluing the base to a sterling silver coaster with wood centre. I removed most of the wood to reveal the mark on the base of the lamp. The base is drilled as shown. The edge of the base has one chip visible where it is glued into the silver base (see pictures). This is a beautiful English art pottery vase.
