Vintage Travelling Suitcase, English, Leather Case, Asprey London, Circa 1930

This is a vintage travelling suitcase. An English, leather case by Asprey London, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930. Elegant case with a pleasingly appointed interior. Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout.

Leather tanned in black with a lightly time worn appearance. Dressed with a pair of brass sliding clasps with inset locks - key absent. Broad carry handle with comfortable leather grip and oval brass mounts. Interior finished in a textured silk cotton with a distinctive indigo hue. Lid offers a fabric slide and mount - possibly used to host a handheld mirror. Leading edge of the case reveals the Asprey London mark when open. This is an attractive vintage suitcase, graced with the tasteful finish expected of Asprey.
