This exceptional service benefits from a solid sterling silver fish service. The components of this canteen were crafted by the Sheffield silversmith Emile Viner of Viner's Ltd between 1955 - 1963.This impressive set benefits from the original knives fitted with the original blades bearing the maker's mark'By Appointment to the late King George V, Viners Ltd, Sheffield', in addition to'Stainless Deluxe, Made in England'. These impressive examples of antique silverware are supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduces tarnishing. This sterling silver Sandringham pattern cutlery set is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The service has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse surface of each piece are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
