This is an amazing piece of british history, a 1950's/60's public bathroom penny lock, ever heard the term "spend a penny"? Well this is where that saying comes from! As you could imagine they caused a bit of a stir when they were frist introduced, but now 2p to use a public bathrom doesn't seem too bad. In terms of condition this toilet lock is a beautiful example, the paint work looks almost brand new and all of the internals work an absolute treat. The listing comes with all of the parts for this to be a working lock, including all screws for attatching to walls/doors, both keys, a black metal sign ready to screw in where needed and a handle with spindle.
