Our Stock # 18.7630. This is a vintage oval serving tray. An English, silver-plated afternoon tea platter by Viners of Sheffield, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950. Strikingly detailed and desirably ornate tray.

Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout. Bright silver plate lightly polished to a reflective sheen. Decorated with Viner's distinctive Silver Rose pattern. Shallow tray lip decorated with a chased foliate pattern to the circumference.

Demi-lune handles a tactile delight with foliate pattern top and melange finish to reverse. Standing upon four small claw and ball feet dressed with green baize lining. Maker's mark to rear; Corporate Mark, Alpha Plate - Viners of Sheffield - England.

This is an attractive vintage oval serving tray with wonderfully ornate detail and pleasingly bright appearance. Delivered polished and ready to enjoy.
