3 Piece Composite Handled Carving Set. The Knives & Carving Set are composite handled, The Fish knives & Forks are Old English Pattern, the remaining flatware is Jesmond Pattern. Condition:- All the pieces are in good used condition, there are scuffs and faint scratches, but the cutlery has polished up well and I can't see any plate loss.

The composite handles to the knives are good, though the knife blades do show scuffs and faint scratches. The Oak veneer canteen box has a few small pieces of veneer loss to the exterior, there is a key, but the lock is broken. The interior is dusty, but is good commensurate with it's age which is circa 1953. There is a registry mark to the Jesmond pattern flatware that dates the registration of the design to the 1920's, however the Coronation label to the canteen suggests a slightly later date, my view being this set was retailed circa 1953.
