Treble spring Antique Wilfred Rhodes 1920's. Endorsed by Wilfred Rhodes Yorkshire Cricketer. With deep aged patina and a cord strung grip, this beautiful bat is stamped with the makers name on the top of the blade'Walter Lambert & Sons Ltd, Nelson England' and their trade mark stamp in the middle of the blade.

Embossed is'ALL ENGLAND XI' and a facsimile autograph of Wilfred Rhodes. Also embossed on the front of the bat'Treble Spring, Specially Selected. Rhodes was born in Yorkshire on October 29, 1877 and died in 1973 aged 95.

His first-class cricket years were from 1898 to 1930. Rhodes was a Yorkshire cricketer and scored more than 30,000 runs averaging 30 an innings. He also played for England and amassed over 2,000 runs.
