Vintage HM Royal Coat Of Arms, Crest, Warrant, Sheffield or Liverpool related

Vintage British Royal Coat Of Arms, Crest, Warrant. This is a rare cast Coat Of Arms Shield. Dated around 1940 - 70's. The top section is the UK Royal Coat Of Arms although, the Scottish quarter is lacking its treasure. Some details relating to the bottom section as below. At the bottom, there are old shields, but the supporters are identifiable. The dexter shield, gules a swan/cormorant sable, is flanked by Neptune / Poseidon to dexter and a triton to sinister. (Likely to relate to Liverpool / Sheffield - trade or industry) The sinister shield is likely to be a representation of a thunderbolt. This is suggested by the supporters: what seems to be Zeus/Jupiter to sinister, given the crown, and Hephaestus/Vulcan to dexter, as he is wielding a sledgehammer.

The mortar and pestle, a symbol of apothecaries, is an interesting addition. Likely reference to Liverpool in the bottom left corner. Good used condition for age, with some wear, marks and discolouration.
