Vintage HENRY MATHEWS English. 925 Sterling Silver PURSE. Attractive Design

925 Sterling Silver Purse by Henry Mathews, Birmingham England, 1904. This wonderful Creation is in Outstanding Condition even though it is 120 years old. The shape and design of this Purse makes it even more desirable. The front has an attractive raised Angel Design while the back has a raised design all around the outside edges that matches the design in front. This piece has Hallmarks on the bottom and inside on the pocket clasp.

The attractive interior is made with green Moire Silk that looks like it was hardly used. The purse measures 1 7/8 inches high x 3 1/2 inches wide at the bottom and 2 1/2 inches at the top. The hinge and closure are in really good condition with excellent alignment. This Purse has been properly cared for and stored in my nonsmoking home.
