Vintage English Pair of Georgian Style Brass & Glass Tall Square Lamp Tables

Vintage English Pair of Georgian Style Brass & Glass Tall Occasional Lamp Square Side Tables with Lower Shelf (Circa 1970). This is a fine quality vintage English Georgian style pair of tall brass tables, constructed with an octagonal tubular brass frame, incorporating a lower glass shelf, circa 1970, in excellent original condition. Item: Pair of Tall Brass Tables. Material: Tubular Brass & Glass. Thick bevelled edge glass top. Heavy & solid in joint. The top consists of a thick piece of bevelled edge glass, secured by four tubular brass legs, decorated with Gregorian corbels, with uniting brass tubular stretchers below, supporting a lower bevelled glass shelf. The legs and stretchers are decorated with brass collars and terminate on pad feet.

The brass tubing boasts a mellow aged colour. The pair of tall brass tables are solid in joint and heavy to lift. Ideal as a pair of lamp, side or occasional tables in either a traditional or contemporary setting. These Georgian style glass brass tables would certainly grace any room; they are a great investment as they are extremely functional. The brass frame has been sympathetically cleaned in our workshop. There is a lovely mellow aged colour to the brass. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the brass frames but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no chips to the polished edges of the glass tops. Nominal light surface scratches to the glass top, which is difficult to see in the images due to it being clear glass.

These tall brass tables are heavy to lift, which is a sign of quality. It is solid in joint and are ready to use.
