This is a beautiful English Edwardian mahogany and. Oval butler's tray, circa 1900 in date. The tray features a Sheraton style design with beautiful marquetry inlaid decoration and it is of shaped oval form with a moulded edge, complete with brass handles at each end. The tray showcases flamed mahogany, with a stunning central motif of a large shell crafted from satinwood and tulipwood with surrounding ribbons, swags, and tails, demonstrating the superb quality of the marquetry work.
