Original vintage, English oak clock case in original condition. Still retains original vibrating clanging mechanism. Rounded corners to the top pelmet, hand-carved beading detailing to the door, three bevelled glass panels to the door, all signs of undoubted quality. This vintage English oak clock case displays a natural wood, waxed finish. It currently retains its original vibrating clanging mechanism, something easily unscrewed from the rear should you so wish. It still has the original runners where a shelf would have once been towards the top, easily restored with the vibrating clanger removed. You may also wish to add further glass or wood shelves? The curved corners of the top pelmet suggests this clock case was made by a highly accomplished hand, with the three original beveled glass panels to the bottom of the door, another sign of undoubted quality.
