Vintage English Leather Fire Bucket Made in England c. 1930's. Superb Condition

A fine vintage English leather fire bucket, stamped. This piece is in excellent original condition, showing only minor age-related wear to the rim (top left). The bucket retains its original leather handle, strong and intact, with decorative brass studding around the base. The front is adorned with a heraldic shield design featuring a knight's helmet in gold and red, giving the piece a striking and decorative appearance.

Age: Early to mid-20th century, c. Maker: English (possibly Merryweather & Sons, London, though not marked as such).

Condition: Mint with light wear at rim; handle intact and original. Height: 30.5 cm approx. Rim diameter: 25 cm approx.

Base diameter: 16.5 cm approx. A superb example of a traditional English fire bucket - ideal for collectors of antique fire-fighting equipment, leatherware, or country house furnishings.
