The table has been constructed from a fabulous bur walnut tree trunk / root slab and boasts a lovely burr grain configuration to the top. The top has been allowed to retain its original cross-section shape, giving it a quirky, irregular shape. The top rests on four simple branch legs. The table has been constructed in a very primitive, but strong fashion. The item is solid in joint and ready to use. This item features a lovely mellow brown oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
