Our Stock # 18.7224. This is a superb vintage dining chair set. An English, quality mahogany and upholstered pair of carvers with 4 seats in Regency revival taste, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.

Wonderfully classical taste with appealing forms. Displaying a desirable aged patina - presented in very good order. Select mahogany presents rich russet hues and fine grain interest. Professionally upholstered with quality textile covers. Swept back rest with sinuous top rail sporting gently chamfered edges. Ornate pierced back splat with scroll details. Carved patera issuing beaded detail following the arc of the top rail. The pair of carvers with stout, graceful arms terminating in scrolled ends. Tasteful seat coverings with bountiful leaf patterns. Comfortably stuffed seat cushions with beaded trim to edges. Attractive, gadrooned baluster legs to the front standing upon tall peg feet. Gently splayed rear feet with square section toes.
