For your consideration is a really, really interesting piece from my collection. It is a stated "Pro Manuscripto" Textbook in-preparation entitled "Cosmology or the Philosophic Study of the Inorganic World - In Harmony with the Scholastic Principles and based on the Thomistic Method" by Paul Christopher Perrotta O.
PhD who was a professor and head of the Philosophy department at Providence College. The introduction is dated 1938 and was likely printed the same year. 109 pages, roughly 8.5" x 7", being a manuscript it appears to be originally hand-bound in softcover. Binding is very strong for the age at over 80 years old. Front cover appears to have something spilled on it long ago, a vertical bend, notable edgewear, but again for a softcover textbook/manuscript of this age it is still in very respectable condition.Internal there are some pages with penciled in notes, and a few extra notebook pages included as pictured. Again, very strong binding, no loose or missing pages, no torn pages etc. Upon a quick review, the book outlines the existence of a God from both a theistic and atheistic sense, however I have not thoroughly studied the text and in the title page it does state it teaches Cosmology from a Thomistic point of view, so it likely does take that turn. Very, very interesting rare manuscript from the head of Philosophy. Perhaps the only one in existence as in my research I have not been able to locate any other examples.
