Vintage c1960's English "Smiths" Oak Cased Chiming Mantel Clock (Fully Serviced). This is a vintage mid-century c1960's English "Smiths" chiming mantel clock.

This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful simple domed oak body. The oak has a medium/dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine.

The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, brass numerals and brass hands. The face is protected by a circular convex glass door with a brass bezel.

The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and also in excellent condition. This chimes (on a coil) on the hour (chiming the numbers of hours) and on the half hour (once).

This comes complete with its floating balance pendulum and key. The clock was cleaned and serviced on the 2nd October 2024. If you have any questions please let me know.
