Vintage / Antique Leather English WW1 Captains Riding Boots Wood Brass Trees

A handsome and very decorative pair of antique riding boots. They are crafted from black leather, with very unusual and attractive wood and brass trees. They are of outstanding quality and would have been custom made for the rider at great expense. The brass on the trees is engraved: J. 11th Hussars Peal & Co. They are in used, vintage condition, with marks, scuffs and imperfections throughout. Please note the crack to part of the tree and some ripped stitching at the back of one of the boots. Height (including tree) 58.3cm. Height (excluding tree) 47.5cm. Heel to toe 29.4cm.

Width of sole at widest point 10cm. Width of sole at narrowest point 7.3cm.
