Vintage Antique 1st Edition Book Musaeus Select Tales 1845 Red Hardback Gold

This is a rare 1845 (undated in book itself) mid-19th Century antique copy of'Select Popular Tales' from the German of Musaeus. The front and back cover panels are stamped in blind red with dramatic patterns, showing signs of rubbing/storage and the spine is stamped in gold (possibly gilt or leaf finish).
