Vintage 20th Century Georgian Style Teak Shoe Cupboard / Storage Cabinet (Circa 1950). This is a practical vintage Georgian style teak cupboard, ideal for shoe or general storage, circa 1950, in good original condition. The cupboard comprises a moulded two-plank top, above a pair of cock beaded doors.

The right-hand door retains the original working lock, with a working key, while the left-hand door retains the original sliding bolt latches. The doors open to reveal an interior comprising 10 compartments, as well as a single solid teak internal hand dovetailed drawer, with its original pull ring handle. Below, the cupboard rests on a moulded base, which is raised on bracket feet.

There is an optional glass top available with the cupboard if required. The cupboard is solid in joint and ready to use and boasts a lovely warm colour.

This item would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the hallway, for use as a shoe cupboard or for other storage. This item would certainly grace any home. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item.
