Victorian St George's Chess Set Old English No Chips Complete Vintage Antique

This is an exceptional, approximately turn of the century, complete St George's chess set with box. The white King measures approximately 73mm, and has a base diameter of just over 24mm.

Authentic sets of this type are never felted or weighted, which this isn't. Box looks to be original and has a handwritten name on the lid.

It isn't too obvious (see photos). Very rare, with no chips to any pieces.

One black bishop appears to be a good replacement. Apart from that they all look original.

There is some slight variation in size/height between the pieces, due to the nature of it being completely hand turned over one hundred years ago. Please study photos carefully for this.
