95% free of writing or markings, however, it is personalized on the firsts page and some of the pages have faint underlining, mostly in errasable pencil (see pictured examples) The title page has a tear is repaired with very old discolored tape (pictured) Covers are faded and have bumped corners and ware on the edges (Pictured)! Comes from a Pet/Smoke free home. Though this book is over 127 years old, it's still in good amazingly sturdy!
