Rough-cut fore and lower edging. Dust jacket (Y/N): No Illustrations (Y/N): Yes. Dimensions: 277 mm x 225 mm x 60 mm. Good vintage condition, with signs of ageing, and some light wear. Text is clear and unannotated. Plates are generally in very good condition and colours remain bright. Some occasional foxing and light smudges/stains on page edges. Small (1.5 cm) tear to the fore edge of the front endpaper.

Foxing / staining on the fold-out map (see photographs). 4 cm tear at the lower edge of the map, along the fold line. 3 cm tear at the left edge.

Foxing on preliminaries, ends and occasional page edges and margins. Titles and decorations are clear and bright. A few faint scuffs on the surfaces. Small dents to the board edges.
