Tales for Young and Old, by W. & R. Chambers in London 1881 Antique Vintage Book

Has a collection of short stories by different authors. Don't know anything about it. Was found in my great great great aunts attic. It has an inscription of Mary Scholey 24th June 1884 in cursive handwriting. Please see pics for the description.
