SUPERB, VINTAGE, ENGLISH STERLING SILVER JEWELLERY BOX, BIRMINGHAM c1963. A very good quality, English sterling silver jewellery box, made by Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham c1963. The cedar wood lined box is supported on four bracket feet with plain silver sides and engine turned engraving to the lid.

It is hallmarked with the maker's mark HCD for Henry Clifford Davis, the lion passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and date letter O for 1963/64. It measures 120mm x 95mm x 42mm in height. A lovely item, in excellent condition.
