Singer SLF-2 Vintage Antique Machinist Anglepoise English Lamp Simanco

Vintage circa 1920s Singer Steel and Bakelite lamp. Fully disassembled, cleaned, rewired (plus additional earth on steel frame), new plug & 3 core braided black fabric flex. Totally original and has all parts included except the glass lenses which which broke on these models very easily. This lamp has a solid cast iron base which does not have mounting holes in it but acts a solid platform. The lamp is adjustable in height from approx max 65cm down to 25cm.

The joints are adjustable and the lamp can be moved into many different positions. The lamp arms and base are worn and show signs of wear with paint missing. The Bakelite bulb holder and switches also show signs of wear as you would expect for approx 100 years old.

The switch works perfectly and has a satisfying clunk when turning on and off. The Bakelite has no cracks and is solid. The lamp will easily do another 100 years, it is extremely well designed and made. The lamp is really nice and has so much charm and character. Old penny arcade sign not included.
