Rare Vintage Bird/Duck Enamel English Sterling Silver Tea Coffee Spoons Case Set

Wonderful cased set of vintage 1978 English sterling silver spoons, each featuring a rare enamel painting of a bird. Each spoon is individually hand-painted with a different bird - including a goldfinch, blue tit, kingfisher, mallard in flight, great spotted woodpecker and great tit. The enamel work is crisp and highly detailed. The spoons are fully hallmarked and free from personal inscriptions or monograms. HALLMARKS : Birmingham, SILVER fineness 925.

CONDITION : Three of the spoon handles show enamel wear, with minor enamel loss to one bowl. The silver has some tarnishing.
