Price is for for one tile only. The design of the tile is actually registered to G. Harold Elphick architect of Nevills New Turkish Bath, Old broad Street, London.

(build 1894) The design is taken from a decorative plaster design in the alhambra Palace, Granada. The design was in use for some time, another example of these tiles can be found in the foyer of Brighton Museum and Art Gallery. Back marked with factory name and RdNo: 241168 for 1894.

Size: approximately 7.6" x 5.6" (19.4 x 14.2 cm). Condition: Very good condition tile with very bright glaze.

The back shows damage at the top. I have been an antique dealer since 2002 and specialise in antique tiles (Medieval, Portuguese, Spanish, Delft, Art Nouveau and Art Deco) and also Dutch Delftware. You can meet me at tile fairs in Germany: stadt Zons in March or in September in Boizenburg and der Elbe.

I also go to England every year for the tile fair organised by the TACS. The fair in England always takes place on the first Saturday of October in Nottingham.
