This is the largest galvanised water tank I have ever seen so I would say they are quite rare, especially the thicker metal riveted ones designed for domestic use like this is. There is only one water outlet (tap) so can be easily made to gold water or used as a planter etc. The steel bars can be discarded if desired and are to strengthen the tank when filled with water.
