Majolica Cobalt Blue Flat Teapot In The Style Of Thomas Forester Antique Vintage

Here we have a charming Majolica glazed "flatback" teapot! Very unusual design with flat sides instead of usual globular form. This has a gorgeous leaf design with purple flower to centre on cobalt glazed ground.

The handle and finial has a bamboo like appearance giving it an aesthetic movement feel. I managed to find 2 others, one being advertised as 19th century the other also unknown.

The item you will receive is what is pictured anyway. It is much in the style of English great Thomas Forester. It measures approximately 10.25 inches from spout to handle by 7.25 inches by 3 inches weighing a little over 750g's. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
