Large English Vintage Carved Gilt Wall Hanging Overmantle Mirror (Circa 1950). This is a fine quality large English Vintage gilt wall mirror, with a carved gilded frame, circa 1950, in excellent condition. Size: 2ft 10" High x 3ft 10" wide.
The vintage wall mirror is fitted with a new mirror, which is in excellent condition. The frame is decorated with stunning floral gesso carvings in the style of early 19th century period.
The gilt wall mirror retains its original frame. The Victorian mirror measures 2ft 10" high by 3ft 10" wide, therefore it is of large proportions and would fit a large room. This gilt wall mirror would look superb in the living room above a fireplace / mantlepiece, as it is well proportioned and of excellent quality. It would certainly grace either a contemporary or traditional home and is a great investment, as it is extremely functional.
