Genuine Antique Englands Lane London N. W. 3 sign Royal Label Factory RARE

For sale is a unique rare cast aluminium England's lane N. 3 Belsize Park London street sign, it has a small bit of damage to top right hand corner, structurally it is sound, no other damage cracks or chips, it would have originally been white background black lettering and border, and red N. 3 postcode, however some has given it a horrible paint job in the past, easily stripped and repainted, nice little project. Embossed raised lettering and border. Made from one piece cast aluminium moulding by the royal label company back in the early part of the 20th century, this firm originally got its royal warrant for making all the signs for queen Victorias flowerbeds vegetable gardens and grounds, they went on to win the contract to supply councils throughout England with all their street signage.
