Exceptional 1930s English Oak Vintage Haberdashery Cabinets by Dudley & Co

Price quoted is for one cabinet. Circa 1930s English Oak Haberdashery Cabinets by Dudley & Co. Dudley & Company, based in north London, were renowned manufacturers of bespoke draper's cabinets and shop fittings throughout the early to mid-20th century. Known for using quality materials like English oak and mahogany, their designs balanced functionality with elegance.

This particular design-with its distinctive flip-up glass doors-has become very rare and difficult to find. Having three identical cabinets available as a set is unheard of. Each cabinet features 27 tiered slide-out drawers approx. 42cm L x 24cm W x 12cm H, concealed behind three weighted, flip-up, glass-fronted doors that retract smoothly into the frame. Across the set, that's a total of 81 drawers.

A large lower drawer provides additional storage space in each unit. In 2012, a French polisher in Shoreditch carried out a gentle restoration to carefully preserve the original finish.
