This is a lovely English brass carriage clock which is signed to the dial'TAYLOR & BLIGH ENGLAND' and the movement is sign'Made in England 11 Jewels'. The clock case is made from brass and is beautifully shaped with cushioned shaped detailing above and below the dial. It has glass to all four sides and to the top which are nicely bevelled. The top has a lovely shaped handle which sets it off beautifully.
The clock is wound and the hands adjusted from the rear, as can be seen from the photographs. Winding and adjustment is mad via the double ended key which the clock is complete with.
The clock is also in good working order. DIMENSIONS: The approximate dimensions of the clock are: 15.5 cm high with handle up / 13.5 cm high with handle down x 8 cm across the front of the clock x 6.5 cm deep.
The clock is circa 1970 but has been created in a lovely antique design / style. CONDITION: The clock case is in lovely condition just minor age marks / tarnishing to the brass commensurate with age. The glass is in good condition.
