This is a really charming old English vintage ceramic vase, hand-thrown on a potters wheel and hand decorated in a typical 1930s Staffordshire style, with bright orange flowers. I doubt very much that this was decorated by Clarice Cliff herself but it definitely owes its colours and design to her influence. It has the words Made in England and some makers mark and lettering too. A lovely display item in any Art Deco style home and it would be a great prop for any period production.
