English Landscape Oil Painting Devon Landscape Signed Framed Victorian Original Vintage Country Art 19th century. 1890's antique Victorian oil on board landscape signed by the listed artist, Edwin Burleigh Younger. A soft toned landscape with a single farmhouse in the North Devon countryside. The artist appears to have done a careful plein air sketch in inks and then very sensitively painted in the details with oils.

There is a small, historic surface scratch running through the cottage area of the painting which is very difficult to see unless view under strong light at an acute angle.
