D Silver Plated Full Sovereign Holder???? Rare delightful English Edwardian c1900's Dennison single sovereign case pendant designed for holding several full sovereign coins. Gentleman would wear this on a fob chain usually on a waist coat. The case body is bright and smooth all over and free from engraving, patterns and is not monogrammed. The case closure is as snug as the day it was made.
Push button opening reveals a clean interior and working spring loaded coin holder. The inside lid is stamped Trade (sun, moon, star) Mark A. There is a vintage price tag intact which I have left on as I think this is a nice touch. Features of the case are push button opening with fob suspension hoop and a revolutionary engineered watertight design (not tested).
Measures including hoop: 5.01cm x 3.41cm x 1.56cm / weight: 25.62g approx. Silver plated on a base metal material, not solid silver.
In super preloved vintage condition. The case is in great shape with surface scratches. Closure is snug, spring and hinge are great.
