Antique Dennison 9ct Gold Filled Full Sovereign Holder, Lucky Horseshoe Delightful English Edwardian c1900's Dennison single sovereign case designed for holding several full sovereign coins. Gentleman would wear this on a fob chain usually on a waist coat.

The case carries a full pattern to the outside which has rubbed through the years, front'shield' cartouche engraved GL, lucky horseshoe design to the sovereign spring loaded holder. Push button opening with fob suspension hoop, watertight design. Stamped Trade (sun, moon, star) Mark A. Engraved G Leighton to the inside. Measures including hoop: 4.92cm x 3.41cm x 1.46cm / weight: 24.89g approx. The case does have some wear, rub and a couple of minor markings. Closure, spring and hinge are super.
