Brass fretwork panel on either side with green silk behind them, solid brass finial to the top. Case is in excellent original condition for age and looks stunning on display with good patina. 1/4 Chiming musical chime every quarter of an hour with hourly strike on the hour after the chimes have finished. Original Platform escapement and a new brass winding key. Fine quality maker in Kieninger. Choice of Westminster, St Michaels or Whittington chimes also the choice of silent which you select using the lever on the backplate which i have pictured for you.
