1840s - 1850s English tea caddy. Great inlay veneer work, nice burl veneer.
It is missing some veneer, but it displays well as is, or is a great candidate for restoration. The inside dividers and covers are there, but loose. It looks like the center divider is a little warped, and the glue holding it all together has failed after many years. It is solid, the inside has a little bit of an old mothball odor to it, and for whatever reason, there is a piece of tape on both sides of the bottom.
Measures about 9.25" wide, 5.5" high, 5.5 deep.
