You can see how a standard legal size envelopes sits in the first two slots in one of the photos. The vertical panels have cutouts to make it easier to remove envelopes. The upper sections can be used for stationary, larger envelopes, or other items. There is a hole on the back panel that could possibly be used for wall mounting.
The Combridge Birmingham decal on the back is shown in a closeup photo. We were not able to find out specifically when it was made. Based on the overall appearance and the decal we thought it might be circa 1920s or 1930s, but it could possibly be several decades older as well.
The issues I found are extremely minor. On the back panel: a couple of small scratches / scrapes, a small 1.16 spot of gray paint, and a very minor scratch on the decal. On the bottom three protective green felt circles were added at some point. As found, of these is missing.
The holder is otherwise in excellent condition and well will guarantee your satisfaction with the condition. International Buyers - Please Note. Doing that is against U.
