Antique Vintage Cast Brass Electric Door Bell, mid 1930's from a private school

This is a rare Antique Vintage Cast Brass Electric Bell that was installed in a Private Girls School in the North West and used to inform of lesson changes. It was removed in the early 1980's for an automated system.

It is one of a pair the other one has been installed in our house from 1985 see photograph no 11 this one is not for sale! It is operated by a bell push and 240v to 20v transformer these are NOT supplied, picture number 12 is our installed transformer positioned directly under the consumer unit. Nothing like this has shown up on any sales sites I have looked at. No cumbersome bell boxes need to be visible. The cast brass bell is 6" diameter at the widest point and 4" high, it has been polished and it can be installed by a competent person who can source and install the correct transformer along with the wiring and bell push. This will look fantastic in a refurbished house / project. And has been dampened down with small piece of wash leather stuck on the striker.
