Antique English Toleware Hand-Painted Crest, Gold with Dark Blue and Red. This antique hand-painted tin shield features an English heraldic crest, possibly made for a college, affiliated school, organization, or city. The crest is shield-shaped, with an overall gold ground, two central red chevronels, and five red roundels.
Three larger fountain roundels with azure and white wavy bands surround the chevronels. It has a ring on the reverse for hanging. Overall the paint retains its color.
