Antique English Leather Cricket Kit Holdall. Vintage Long Coffin Bat Bag. This handsome long cricket kit holdall which dates from the early 20th century is made of thick brown leather with a hessian lining, has two carrying handles, a brass lock and three sturdy buckled straps. This antique decorative leather bag which has developed a nice aged look would have been used to carry cricket bats, pads, shoes etc. This bag would make a great display piece for a cricket club, sports shop or bar.

Would also make an interesting addition for a cricket memorabilia collection. Dimensions: 92cm Length, 23cm Width, 26cm Height. The leather has been polished and is in used condition, It has no splits / tears or holes in case leather. Corners show historic stitching repairs. Some historic damage to base and top bar. Interior has no tears or fraying, Has aged use marking. This is a beautiful bag. Handle has no repaires and is in good condition and good enough for normal use.

Locks are good working order with no keys. A wonderful vintage bag with a fabulous look for home or prop. It has no mould and does not smell.

We use silica bags for stock storage. The closures are tarnished and need polishing.
