Antique 1826 English Shilling COIN FOB PENDANT CHARM Sterling Silver Glass VTG

Antique 1826 English sterling silver shilling coin encased in glass and mounted in sterling silver as a gentleman's Victorian watch fob. Heavy and solid, high quality, handmade. Beveled glass on both sides and in great condition with no cloudiness, the coin is very visible on both sides.

Coin is 195 years old and has a clear mint date of 1826. Image is well centered and the coin is secure in its mounting with no shifting or rotating. The mounting itself has a nice heavy band of chain to reinforce as well as decorate the top edge.

Both coin and the mounting are solid sterling 925 silver. Approx 1 1/8" across, length without jump ring approx 1 5/16", thickness with glass approx 1/4, weight 14.2 gr. Historical and unique, suitable for ladies or gentlemen, can be worn again as a watch fob or as a wonderful pendant! Excellent condition for its age, slight wear. The edges of the glass have the tiniest/slightest of nicks seen with magnification, no cracks or big chips.
