High quality bracket clock design with superb small proportions for a bracket clock. Working front glazed hinged door & hinged back door with fretwork panel. Stepped top with brass acorn finial to the centre. Case is in excellent original condition for age and looks stunning on display with good patina. Original 5.5 inch diameter dial. Roman numerals & original moon hands. Dial is signed by the retailers Knight & Gibbins of London. Dial is in excellent original condition and looks fantastic. Original German 1/4 striking musical triple chime 8 gong rod 8 day movement.

1/4 Chiming musical chime every quarter of an hour with hourly strike on the hour after the chimes have finished. Original Platform escapement and a new brass winding key. Fine quality maker in Kieninger with the back plate having the maker mark on it. Choice of Westminster, St Michaels or Whittington chimes also the choice of silent which you select using the lever on the backplate which i have pictured for you.

Movement is in full working order keeping good time and chiming the 1/4s as it should as you can see in the video above. Retailed by Knight & Gibbins of London. The clock has beautiful proportions and measures 13.5 inches high x 8.25 inches wide x 5 inches deep. This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece. Looks absolutely fantastic wherever it is displayed and a true talking point of any room.
