Century Style Cherry Wood Rectangular Coffee Table (Circa 1980). Here is a fine quality vintage English 18. Century / Charles II style solid cherry wood coffee table, circa 1980, displaying a lovely mellow cherry wood colour, in excellent original condition. Style: Charles II / 18. Sturdy gun barrel turned legs.

The table incorporates a four-plank moulded top, above a straight reeded frieze, which also contains a single oak lined drawer. The table is raised on sturdy gun barrel turned legs on block feet. Below, the legs are united by a pot-board, which is finished with a straight, simple frieze. The table has been constructed in the traditional mortice and tenon pegged construction method. The item is solid in joint and ready to use.

This item features a lovely rich mid brown oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. This oak vintage Charles II style coffee table would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the hallway. This table is in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of the item.

There are no breaks to the frame or legs. The drawer is oak lined, runs smoothly and closes flush to the frame.
