Lawn Jockey Cast Iron Vintage Hitching Post

(This type is known as cavalier spirit apparently). Made of Cast Iron this is pretty darn heavy!

Very good original condition, this has probably been painted in owners silks colours. These were used to hitch your horse to in the USA in the 19th and early 20th centuries and are now a sought after Lawn/garden decoration.

He stands 126cm or 49.5 tall. As a guide the lady in the pics is 5'9. We have used this to hold a lamp in the garden (we don't have a horse). This is heavy and I would prefer collection but I can deliver at cost depending where you are.
